Boca United and US Club Soccer's National Premier Leagues

Boca United / South Florida United Soccer Academy is one of only three clubs in south Florida that participate in the Florida Premier League.  The club started play in the Florida Premier League in the 2012-13 season and continues its active participation.

The Florida Premier League is part of a national network called the National Premier League and pertains to our U13 through U18  age groups only (boys and girls).  Our selection into this national network of leagues places our club among the most elite clubs in the state and indeed the country.  It provides the club coaching staff with yet another tool to challenge our players in reaching their full potential through competitive matches.

On the boys side, Boca United is joined a select group of elite clubs in Florida including all of the current US Soccer Development Academy clubs within the state.  "We will not only benefit from the competition but our organization is strategically positioned for strong consideration for entry into the US Development Academy in the future.  The US Soccer Development Academy is the highest level of play for boys in the United States at this time," said Eric Eichmann, Boca United's Director of Coaching.

In addition to the Florida Premier League, the club's U13 and older teams (boys and girls) continue to be eligible to participate in the FYSA State Cup each spring and the club staff will utilize that competition as part of our program as well.

"The South Florida United Soccer Academy is a combination of soccer clubs and academies that come together to create an environment that will foster the best player development possible for the U13 – U18 age groups.  This will ultimately allow for a more successful and more efficient soccer program. We hope other surrounding Clubs and Academies will see this 'Big Picture' and join forces with BU/SFUSA to further challenge our player in a more competitive environment and to represent South Florida at the National Level," Eichmann said.

He added:  "The FPL provides us with competitive challenges and superb player development opportunities, and our membership in the Florida Premier League sets our club up for the next stage of growth on the national stage as we continue to strive to be 'the best place to live and learn the beautiful game of football" in south Florida.
